If you have been bullied or someone you know is or has been affected by bullying, there are lots of people out there who can help. Try these websites:

Beatbullying
The bullying prevention charity which helps young people as well as parents and professionals. They offer access to Cybermentors; young people who have been trained to help you on all sorts of subjects relating to bullying, using social networking technology like instant messaging, email and text messaging (see below for more info).

The anti-bullying charity with a very detailed website which offers help and advice for victims of bullying as well as their parents and schools.

A site for victims of bullying and bullies themselves. Get help and advice on how to make it stop.

Kidscape
With a wide range of services aimed at young people who are being bullied or sexually abused, this is a useful resource for them and also for concerned parents.

ChildLine
ChildLine is the free helpline and online service for children and young people in the UK. Children and young people can call 0800 1111 or visit www.childline.org.uk to talk to a trained counsellor about any problem, or talk to other young people on the message boards.

CyberMentors
CyberMentors is all about young people helping and supporting each other online.
If you're being bullied or are troubled by something, CyberMentors is where you can go for help.

Victim Support is the independent charity for victims and witnesses of crime right across England and Wales. Their services are free of charge and confidential. Call the support line on 0845 30 30 900.

Part of the parentlineplus.org.uk site - a site for parents with parenting advice, guidance and tips and lots of information on what do if you discover your child is involved in bullying.
