  If you are experiencing domestic violence or know someone who is, this is a free 24 hour helpline run by Women's Aid and Refuge - 0808 2000 247.

  Refuge provides safe, emergency accommodation and emotional and practical support to women and children experiencing domestic violence.

  

• Women's Aid

  Women's Aid is a national charity working to end domestic violence against women and children.

  

• Southall Black Sisters

  A London-based charity that has been set up to help black (Asian and African-Caribbean) women who have been affected by domestic violence, forced marriage and honour crimes within black and minority communities.

  Support for Farsi, Kurdish, Arabic and Turkish speaking women, girls and couples.

  

• Imkaan

  Imkaan is a national charity which specialises in domestic violence and is dedicated to helping women from the Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee communities.

• ChildLine

  ChildLine is the free helpline and online service for children and young people in the UK. Children and young people can call 0800 1111 or visit www.childline.org.uk to talk to a trained counsellor about any problem, or talk to other young people on the message boards.
