Dog charities

  • Dogs Trust

    A really helpful site from the largest dog welfare charity in the UK. The Dogs Trust is also available on Facebook. - the Dogs Trust will be of help for re-homing, not for criminal matters.

    The official site of the Royal Society for the Protection of Animals. They also have a 24-hour advice line on 0300 1234 999. The RSPCA do not deal with victims of dangerous dogs - they will give advice via their cruelty line on dog attacks on other animals but anything else they will refer to police.

    Founded in 1873 the Kennel Club offers vital support and information about dog welfare, health, training and breeding. This link takes you to their section with advice about owning a dangerous dog.
